There is a period of adjustment during which you must actively think and:

  • ​make appropriate food selections
  • know when to cut up food into smaller pieces before eating
  • stop yourself from taking a bite out of an apple or sandwich

Do not be discouraged. You will soon see new habits develop and eating with braces and/or appliances will become second nature.
